Information

DATES
These tours will operate every fortnight, from May to October but, if booking for six or seven persons, alternative dates can be arranged. Minimum numbers are required.

PRICES
This is a fully inclusive, all day, high quality tour with a charge, per person, of £130.00. For groups of six or seven persons there will be a reduction of 5% off the full price.

PAYMENT
Payment can be made by cheque, cash or credit/debit card. Cheques should be made payable to “Chauffeurs of Carnoustie” and posted to 65c, Dundee St, Carnoustie, Angus, DD7 7PN. Cash should not be sent by post. Card payments can be accepted by telephone.

CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation by the client there will be a full refund less an administration fee of £25. If within 30 days of the date booked then 50% of the fee will be retained. In the event of cancellation by the operators there will be a full refund and an opportunity to book an alternative date with a 10% discount.

INSURANCE
For your own benefit you may want to take out insurance to cover personal accident, medical expenses, lost deposits/cancellation charges, loss or damage to personal effects or loss of personal money/documents.

LIABILITY
The Great Eskape will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of their clients but it is a condition of the acceptance of all bookings that they cannot be held responsible for any personal loss, damage or injury which may occur.

COMPLAINTS
Every effort is made to ensure that each client enjoys their day with The Great Eskape. However, in the unlikely event that there is cause for complaint the tour guide should be notified immediately and every effort will be made to resolve the problem. If the complaint cannot be satisfactorily resolved then the complaint should be put in writing and sent to Chauffeurs of Carnoustie within 14 days of the incident giving rise to the complaint.

CLOTHING
There will be approximately 2 kilometres of walking during the day and therefore clients should wear sensible shoes and carry an umbrella in case the weather is inclement. Anyone who, for whatever reason, does not want to walk can stay aboard the bus.

TRANSPORT
All transport on the day is included in the cost and starts and finishes at Carnoustie. Pickups can be made en route at no additional charge. Clients can be collected elsewhere but this will incur an additional charge. Please contact Chauffeurs of Carnoustie for prices.

SAFETY
Clients must agree to abide by, and comply with, the instructions and decisions of the guide. Please note that, for obvious reasons, dogs are not allowed on these tours.
